ٍethylene vinyl acetate

Ethylene vinyl acetate or EVA is a copolymer made of ethylene and vinyl acetate, also known as PEV or polyethylene vinyl acetate.

EVA Types:

EVAs are divided into three groups based on the weight percent of vinyl acetate. The first batch is a type of polyethylene that contains about 4% vinyl acetate, and in the term is called polyethylene modified with vinyl acetate. It is generally non-toxic because it is flexible and shiny to produce films.

The second group is copolymers with an ethyl acetate content in the range of 4% to 30% and a thermoplastic elastomer. The most common use of this group of EVA materials is the production of adhesives. The other types of these materials contain more than 40% of vinyl acetate, which are known as ethylene vinyl acetate rubber.

EVA applications:

Major EVA benefits include the production of glue, cumin shoes, and more.
Other uses of this material include the use of medical engineering as a drug deliverer and the use of orthopedic appliances. The thin and flexible foam used in the art of flowers to make artificial flowers are made of EVA.
These materials are usually made of EVA Granules, which are available in 25kg packages.
