Titanium Dioxide R906

Material Name: Titanium Dioxide
Chemical formula: Tio2
Grade: R906
Appearance: White powder
Brand: Titanus
Packing type: 25 kg bag

Titanium dioxide with the chemical formula TiO2, also known as titanium, is an inorganic, solid, white and odorless substance that is stable, non-flammable and has poor solubility against heat.
Titanium dioxide is usually extracted from ilminite in two forms, "anatase" and "rutile".
Rutile titanium is the most common form of titanium dioxide, which has a high dispersion property and has a higher density and refractive index than other allotropes, namely anatase titans.
Titans are estimated to make up two-thirds of the volume consumed by pigments, and if used as a white pigment in industry, they are known as PW6 or CI77891, while if used as a food coloring. They are identified by the code E171.
The most important applications of titanium dioxide are paints, varnishes (enamels), paper and plastics, which account for about 80% of the world's titanium consumption. Other applications such as textile printing, fiber, rubber, cosmetics and food are about 8% and the remaining percentage in other industries including the production of pure titanium, glass and ceramics, electrical ceramics, catalysts, electrical conductors and intermediates. Chemicals are used.
In general, there is no evidence that titanium is harmful to health, but exposure to very high concentrations of this chemical may cause mild irritation of the skin and airways.
